Intertidal archaeology and past animal and bird populations

Join Professor Martin Bell of the University of Reading on an intertidal walk and archaeological recording exercise from Uskmouth to Goldcliff Pill. 

We will look for auroch bones and deer footprints and visit the site where Iron Age buildings were excavated at Goldcliff West.

Meet at: Newport Medieval Ship Centre, Kingsway, Newport NP20 1HG

Cost: Free - but booking essential
