POSTPONED: Recapturing the historic landscape

Due to the Covid-19 guidance this event is postponed until a later date.

Please keep checking the website for details.

Discover the historic Gwent Levels landscape between the river Wye and the East Cardiff Moors with our history research volunteers (the RATS) through talks on a variety of fascinating subjects.

Hear what early-nineteenth-century visitors thought about the ferry journey across the Severn, the towns of Chepstow and Newport, and the landscape of the Levels.

Find out how today's landscape of recreation works alongside the historic drainage systems and the weather associated with the Severn Sea - and much more!

There will also be a display of the RATS other research for you to enjoy during the interval.

Meet at: Chepstow Drill Hall, Drill Hall Lower Church Street, Chepstow NP16

Cost: FREE
