Beginner’s Bumblebee Identification training course

Join Bumblebee Conservation Trust at Magor Marsh SSSI to learn about the ecology of bumblebees on the Levels, and how to identify them.  The workshop will include an introductory talk followed by a field session where you will have the opportunity to learn bumblebee survey techniques and learn how to identify bumblebees.

At the workshop you will have the opportunity to sign up to BBCT’s BeeWalk Scheme http://www.beewalk.org.uk/ - a national recording scheme which monitors the abundance of bumblebees on transects across the UK.

Refreshments will be provided during the indoor session but please bring along a packed lunch and drinks, and suitable outdoor clothing for the field session.
